Day 7 - Camper setup and exploring

Massive winds all night and we didn't get much sleep. Got up to check the awning and camper a few times during the night, but all looked OK. Once we got up, a few of the guy rope positions needed to get adjusted as it was almost dark last night whilst we were setting up. 

After breakfast, Michael setup Tim's solar panel to give us a bit of extra charge in the camper battery. It was cloudy all day but the battery still seemed to be getting enough charge during the day, even with us charging up all of our devices. 

Now it was time to setup the sand flag pole with our solar light and transformer flag on top of the roof racks. We also strung some fairy lights from it and around the car to the camper. We will have to check tomorrow how far away we can see our light and flag from. It should be quite visible from afar. 

Went for a wander in the afternoon to the main plaza to check it out and also all of the vendor stands as well. Some very good food options available which we might try over the coming days. 

Unfortunately, another night of high winds and rain. We got hardly any sleep again. I wonder what the campsite will look like tomorrow?
