Day 9 - The music begins

Nice sunny day today. We were going to have a wash before breakfast, but Cynthia turned up to return our torch which we loaned her last night so she could find her way back to camp. By they time she left it wasmid morning already. 

Michael got a message from James Simmons that he was running the NRMA display in the main plaza. 

We went down there to get some things to eat for a late breakfast and pickup a bag of ice as well. We also went to drop in on James and chatted for about 20 minutes. He was kind enough to give us the Starlink WiFi password so we were able to update our messages, emails, etc. 

Came back to camp and got our gear and food ready for today's concert which was starting around 330pm. 

Found a good spot in the arena and set ourselves up for the evenings entertainment. 3 acts today. The second one was Tom Busby who had a surprise guest of Kasey Chambers for 1 song. Last act for the night was Furnace and the Fundamentals. Absolutely amazing as usual. 

After the concert, came back and sat around the neighbours fire for a while. 

Hopefully we get a restful night tonight. There is a storm expected around 630am tomorrow morning.
