Day 10 - Around the campfire

Woke up to a wet and rainy day. Our campsite is still holding up ok to all of the rain. No major rivers or flooding running through our living area. Our neighbours haven't faired so well. I guess we just got lucky. 

The rain and grey skies are not expected to clear until about 3pm today, so we decided not to go to the concert arena and just stay around the campfire all day. We can still hear the music quite well from camp. Some of our neighbours came to join us. 

We watched some of the caravans camped around us being recovered out of the mud to be moved to drier campsites. Not impressed with the way they were doing the recoveries. Stepping over live snatch straps and some dodgy hookups too. We kept well out of the way and watched the entertainment. 

Tomorrow, Saturday and Sunday are meant to be good weather days with more rain predicted on Monday so we will probably leave on Sunday afternoon.
