We left Mildura around 930am, planning to get to Narrandera or maybe even Wagga Wagga today. The weather started out ok but there are expected storms due today.
Once we got to Wagga Wagga, we were feeling ok to keep driving so made the decision that we would try to get to Goulburn or Yass and call it a day. We didn't really feel like camping anymore and all our canvas was already dry so we decided to keep going and make it all the way home today.
The rain got heavier and there were sections of the highway which had a lot of water on them, so Leanne took over the driving to give Michael a break. We finally made it home around 9pm, after having a few rest breaks along the way.
A total of 11 hours driving and about 950km. Man it felt good to get home. Tomorrow we will just chill out and start the unpacking of the car on Thursday.
