Decided to have a sleep in this morning so it was nearly 11am before we had finished breakfast, packed up and hit the road again. The campsite was good aand We shared it with a few caravans, who all left before us.
The only problem with this spot was the resident magpies nesting in the trees, who thought it would be a good idea to swoop us when we walked to the toilet. Very annoying.
We stopped around 130pm in Berrigan for lunch at the local bakery, and a walk around the painted silo, which was impressive.
Our stop tonight was supposed to be the Edward River campground in Mathoura, but Leanne found that the local bowling club has free camping with toilets and showers, plus a discount for dinner in the dining room. Gotta love that. We arrived around 3pm, did our washing, and then spent the afternoon having a few drinks and dinner at the bowling club.
