This morning was another stay in bed kind of morning. We got up around 9am and had a leisurely bacon and egg breakfast.
A few of our neighbours dropped by for a chat on their way for a walk into town. We decided to just have a day sitting around camp until the communal dinner this evening.
Leanne organized with some of the other campers to head up to the hall a bit earlier, for fivsies. Once the bar opened, we all headed inside and found some seats in the dining area, with our new neighbour friends.
The local Scout group parents cooked the dinner for us which was a few different types of meats and salads, and apple crumble and ice cream for dessert. Very nice indeed.
After dinner, there were some lucklucky door prize draws, as well as a few fines with money going to RFDS. There was even a charity raffle of some items too.
Wayne, Marg and Stuart all said a few words, and they were impressed with the numbers attending this year's Corroboree: 77 campers and 142 people. By far the biggest attendance ever, according to Marg.
Afterwards, we retired to our campsite and cranked up the fire for 1 final time, with our friendly neighbours.
