Day 6

Coober Pedy - you either love it or you hate it

Another big driving day today to get to Woomera.

Not a big drive today. Took in some of the sights of Mildura on a Paddle Wheeler on the Murray River.

Another travel day today.

The big adventure started today - The Canning & Beyond.

Not long now until we leave. Only 2 days to go. Have we got everything packed?

New tyres for the car today.

Wow, time flies.  Countdown is down to 3 weeks - 19 days to be exact. How much food can you honestly fit into a 40 litre engel?

Time to get serious - its all about the food.

If Covid-19 taught us anything - its don't underestimate toilet paper or the lack of!!!

More stuff for the trip. This time, a water filtration option.

It's never a good idea to try something new for the first time on a remote area trip - whether it be a new piece of equipment or a new menu.  Whilst it is certainly fun to sit back with a glass of wine and watch someone try to put a large mattress into a small tent, it is not so much fun being the person who is trying to put it in.

Planning a nearly 3 month trip takes a lot of work!!!!!

Recent purchase and Christmas gifts of some goodies for the big trip. Only 5 months away now.

In 2024, we will be going on our biggest 4WD trip to date. We will be tackling the Canning Stock Route in Western Australia. Planning is well under way.
