Day 19 - Durba Springs rest day
Had a rest day today at Durba Springs. A beautiful little gorge filled with bird life and gum trees.
Water is okay - not to drink but to do washing (after you strain the bits of bark and things out). We also took the opportunity to do some minor car repairs and tightened lots of bolts which were being rattled loose from all of the corrugations we have been driving over.
Some of the group went for a little walk in the morning - that took 3 hours!! - with the intent to walk to the top of the cliffs but didn't quite make it. Another person did a quick 15 minute rock scramble up to the top and was back within less than an hour.
It has been nice to have a chill out day after some pretty intense days of driving to get here.
Someone with a sense of humour had even put in an EV charging port at the camp site.
