Had brekkie and coffee at the roadhouse restaurant as the winds were still 30 km/h and kept picking up dust.

Big meals, pretty good prices and the staff were very friendly. Would recommend the Threeways Roadhouse as a place to stop.

Today is just a drive day with not much to see or do along the way. We heard over the UHF radio that there were some oversized trucks heading our way. They were 8 meters wide so we found a good spot to pull off the road to watch them pass. We took a video as they passed by our car.

We made it to Camooweal and found a free campsite by the river, just before town. Lots of sites to choose from. Unfortunately, some other campers came and squeezed into our campsite too, right next to us. NOT HAPPY JAN!

Tomorrow we are heading in to Mt Isa for 2 nights. It was hard to find any accommodation as the rodeo is in town this week. We were able to find a spot in another Discovery Caravan Park. Hope it is as good as the one we stayed at in Alice Springs.
